I know imitation is supposed to be the greatest form of flattery, but this is just too strange. I’ve always thought imitation showed a lack of creativity. After all, who wants to be just like everyone else?

A few days ago I ran across this "natural solution" to all those technological devices that have become a fact of life for many people. Not only does the product provide a more soothing appearance than most of the gadgets we have become accustomed to, It seems to be more environmentally friendly as well.

For those of you who may not have read or heard about it yet, the young lion cub Koza had an ill fated encounter recently. He will be greatly missed. Cairo has found a new home where she will be as needed and loved as she was at the zoo.

Having been married to a musician for over thirty years, I can tell you that the music just HAS to come out. With New Orleans being the home of so many musicians and music styles, I’m not surprised at the continutation of one of the city’s more well-known events, the New Orleans Jazz Fest. It will take more than a blow hard to keep these guys and the city down.

Okay… I know I’ve mentioned Cute Overload several times but, does it get any cuter? Take this pic for example. And to top it all off they now have a new site search (finally) button and a "caption this" section for all the budding witticists who want to post their observations and comments.

Finally a little bit of the sun’s rays are beaming down on us. If you look at the monthly weather report, you can see that Spring hasn’t really graced us yet. But every once in a while, we get a magnificent glimpse! And today is one of those days.
