  1. Been watching some intresting sections on the history channel lately about Rock and Roll. The other day there was one on the Role of the Lead Guitar in a band.Of course at the forefront of that was Jimi Hendrix,And Stevie ray,But they also brought up Slash from Guns and Roses,And how he connected to a guitar like it,s part of him.Seems so true all of the good Guitarist through time use the guitar almost as an extension of them and their personality.

  2. From my years of experience with musicians, I would say yes the instrument is an extension of the artist, becoming another means of the total expression of the inner being. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been awakened in the middle of the night by Taki playing bass on my back in his sleep. LOL

  4. Yep, I think I’m lucky (although a little sleepy on occasion). If someone’s going to have a passion for something – let it be a positive one.
