Rockin’ ‘n’ Rollin’

Well the whole island seems to be getting in on the local music craze. Each year there seems to be more and more local artists hitting the Japanese charts. With these advances in popularity, other businesses are jumping on the band wagon. A few days ago Taki and I drove by a local pachinko parlor that had a large guitar-shaped sign with the words “Rock ‘n Roll” plastered on the outside of the building. I wonder if they only play rock music at that particular parlor? Or maybe there’s a new rock ‘n’ roll pachinko machine. Or maybe the parlor hosts live rock bands as an attraction for special events. Who knows what rock ‘n’ roll has to do with a pachinko parlor. It could be anything or nothing.

  1. Speaking of new busineses popping up.Have you might also noticed all fo the New Motorcycle shops!!!.Sooner or later there,ll be some regulations put on this business due to legality issues,I,E having untrained mechanics,Changing safety issue things,I.E Chains,Brakes,Tires etc.In a Car when the mech makes a mistake the car skids to a stop mostly in a bike the bike goes end over end. With the resulting injuries.

Off that issue,Does anyone reading these BLOGS feel that time flys when they are at the JET?.I sure do before I know it I am yearning for more music and Taki says don,nt go away we,ll be back for one more Set!! LOL.

  2. Yep, the islanders do like to soup-up their rides!!! My favorites are the minivans that look like they are all coming out of a Japanese anime. I don’t think it looks that good on regular sized vans though.
