Howdy. One of your older posts turned up on a Google results page and this caught my eye when I checked the front page. The city where I live is nicknamed “Sunshine Iwaki” because, supposedly, we get more days of sun per year than you do down there in Okinawa.
Couldn’t prove it from this year, though!

That’s just it. Every year we discuss the weather, like most people, and compare it to previous years’ (or at least what we think is the weather from previous years). So I decided to take an active account of the weather to determine exactly what sub-tropical means as far as this vicinity.
And I think the only thing anyone can prove from the weather (as well as Mom Nature’s other hands) this year is there is always an exception to the rule.
