Update on Blog Search Engines
Well, I’ve been keeping track of how quickly two Blog Search Engines pick-up a new post. So far the quickest is IceRocket. Feedster is a little slower, and so far I haven’t been able to claim any of the posts (even when I follow their instructions). I’m going to try again in case they are having complications.
(Removed feed claim do to nonrecognition by Feedster claimfeed. 7:34p.m.)

As someone who is fairly new to the computer world, blogs, etc. and trying to catch-up with current technology, I have come to a conclusion on two of the current blog search engines available. I tried once again to get the Feedster feedclaim.php to recognize my claim, to no avail. Although the time taken to recognize a post is close to IceRocket’s, I feel the failure of Feedster’s claim service to work is a big drawback. Out of the two search engines, I prefer IceRocket. I also like the link on IceRocket to Blog Topics, a system similar to the tag recognition page on Technorati (a site that had problem recognizing tags on my site ).
