When a friend submits a business proposal there are two questions at hand:

First, is this a proposal that you (if you were a business person and given a minimum cost analysis) would agree to?

Second, if not, is that really being a “friend”?

Why is it when men over forty go into left field doing immature, ridiculous things (such as dating girls young enough to be their daughters, getting hair pieces, or the sports car thing) it is said they are having a “mid-life crisis”? Yet when women over forty do the equivalent (such as dating younger men, dressing like a twenty year old, buying expensive jewelry) it is said they are coming into their own and expressing their independence? Basically isn’t the same thing, trying to prove to oneself that the person is still considered desirable to the opposite gender?
