This week I’ve been busy learning how to edit and add effects to videos, as well as audio for the final product. This is a clip from one of my first attempts at video editing. View this and other island road trip videos here.

Well if you’ve been keeping up with the sight, then you already know I’ve been experimenting with the video portion of blogging. Here is the first attempt at creating a video completely from scratch (no pre-recorded video in the project). The meal is for the amateur foodie portion of this sight, Innie-or-Outie, which was created because of the large number of food-oriented posts that were taking up too much of this sight. The video was created from original pictures taken while I was cooking the meal and self-recorded audio instructions.

Today I’ve been learning the limitations of transferring video files from one program to another. Normally I would think it shouldn’t be too difficult, but there are always compatability issues with differing software programs. At least I have the time to test and challenge my technological abilities, since it has done nothing but downpour for the past two weeks

Well, I think I finally have all the new upgrades completed. But as most of us know, it will only be a matter of a week or two before the whole process begins again in the never-ending ping pong game of staying up-to-date.

Why is it when upgrades for software come it seems they all come out at the same time? I know what I’ll be doing most of the week!

I upgraded to the new 2.03 version of WordPress today. If you find any bugs, please let me know.

Now I know people are fascinated by other people’s behaviors, but when I read about this blogging study I had to crack-up. Just goes to show, blogging is now part of the permanent structure of the modern world if "studies" are being done on it.
